I switched to this bike seat for my hybrid and I'm glad that I did.
It's comfortable! Tip - when mounting ANY bicycle seat, you can
adjust the "tilt" from front to back. Make sure that the horn of
the seat is not angled up, or it will grind into your crotch in
very unpleasent way. This seat is very special because when mounted
propertly (level), it is especially gentle on the male anatomy
because of the very forgiving and ingenious center channel.

This is a great seat for beginners, who don't like the the size and comfort of the seat that comes on the bike.

Lots of padding, VERY comfy if just taking it slow. Otherwise, like others, the nose of the saddle tended to rub and irritate the inside of my thigh. Had to swap it out for a different, narrower seat. If you tend to take it easy and your rump needs some lovin', this is THE seat for you.

I was excited about this seat, and unconcerned about the cost, compared to others by the same company or other companies at half or less of the price. I am lean, but there is no way I could use this. It is the widest seat I have ever seen and has a very wide nose on the horn. It looks like it may be comfortable for an upright beach cruiser, if you are going nice and slow and just enjoying the sights. If you are doing anything more than that, I expect the horn to rub the inner thighs terribly and make this seat a very poor choice. I have returned it and my wife gave me her Schwinn Adult Ergonomic Bicycle Saddle (reviewed separately), which I also purchased for her, after deciding she was happy with her current seat. The Schwinn is a great seat for the price. The 5019, not so much.

This saddle gets an unqualified thumbs up. I recently rode over 187 miles in a 14.5 hour period and I had no saddle related soreness whatsoever. Buying this saddle just eliminated a key limiter from long distance bike touring. I have used it on both my mountain and road bikes with no problems on either. Although it wins no beauty contests among bike snobs, I will be ordering another one. In my case, the "ugly duckling" gives me everything I need and nothing that I do not.
